On the beach.

Michio sat in the sand, watching the ocean. She dug around in the sand and sighed. She'd called in sick to work today because she just didn't feel like dealing with anyone. She sighed again and closed her eyes, feeling bored.

"You alright miss?" Ren said as he walked up to her with a smile.
"You see down."

Michio opened her eyes and turned to face Rin. "Oh, hello, sir. Nothings wrong, I'm just sitting on a beach." She smiled. "My name's Michio Haruko by the way."

"I'm Rinseal Warikani, but you can just call me Ren." He said sitting down next to her and returning the smile.

"Nice to meet you, Ren," Rin said turning back around. She yawned loudly.

"It is sure lovly outside is it not." He said as he stared into the water.

Michio nodded. "Yeah, it is. So...what brings you to the beach?"

"I just got done with my work and decided to come and relax here."

"That's cool." Michio's cell phone rang in her pocket and she sighed. ""I'm sorry, would you excuse me for a second? I'd better see who this is." she mumbled quietly.

"Oh yeah it's fine." Ren said standing up and taking off his shoes. He walked ankle deep into he water and felt the sand between his toes.

Michio took out her phone and looked on the caller ID. She groaned. "Sorry, Ren, I gotta take this." She muttered. "It's work." she answered the phone. "Hello?" She mumbled.

"It's alright." He said with a nod as he slowly stasrted to go deeper in the water. He threw his phone and a few other things on the beach and dived in once he got deep enough.

Michio smiled watching him. She was muttering something into the phone, barley loud enough to be heard. She sighed. "Listen I've told you," She started, but was interupted by the person on the other line. She looked annoyed and yelled into the phone, "Well its your job!" then she closed her phone and threw it on the beach and lie down in the sand.

Ren reappeared from the water and asked.
"You okay, I heard yelling?"

Michio shrugged. "What can I say? If I'm not at work, the place falls apart," She sighed, "You think those idiots would be able to handle it without me for just a day."

"What do ou do,if you don't mind me asking?" He said his head only bearly above the water.

"I'm in the military," Michio answered, chuckling as she watched him swim.

"I've never would fit with the them, I don't use guns, or anything like that." He said now starting to float on his back.

Michio shrugged. "I don't use guns either. If someone threw a gun at me and told me to shoot someone, I honestly wouldn't know what to do," She chuckled again, "I'm a state alchemist."

"I'm nothing of that sort I guess, I am trained in the way of Busido, and the katana." He said looking at her.

Michio smiled. "That's really cool, but could you explain to me what that is?" She had her state alchemist pocketwatch in her hand and was turning it over, looking at it.

"It's really hard to explain, I guess you can compare me to a samrai or knigh." He said smiling as he divrd back in again.

Michio nodded. "I see. Hey, mind if I join you in the water?"

"By all means my friend." He said as he reappeared from the water.

Michio threw her pocketwatch next to her cell phone and jumped into the ocean.
